You have doubtless already met this new law which comes into force on May 25th. It affects the Rambling Club as follows: - The Club currently holds some of your personal data to inform you about club activities. This will probably be address, phone number(s) and email address. It is now necessary for you to ACTIVELY confirm to the club that you are happy with this on the understanding that the data will be stored securely and never be passed on or used for any other purpose. To enable you to do this you will shortly receive a written form with tick boxes as appropriate. Please note that if youíve moved recently, we may not have a current postal address for you so please contact Helen with your new address.

This is on June 30th at Rexís house. Please contact Rex if you wish to go and to discuss any food he might like you to contribute. Please remember to bring your own drink. Full details about this are on your programme. Mini buses will run from Buxton at 1.30pm for walkers and 5pm for ďeaters!Ē Please note that even eaters have a half mile walk up Rex's lane. Contact Helen if you wish to use the mini bus.

Itís lambing time and ground nesting bird season, so please keep your dogs on a lead and follow the walk leaderís instructions. Do you carry ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact number? Whilst we donít any members to have accidents we ask that you please ensure you have contact number on your phone and a note of your next of kin in your rucksack.

We are very pleased to welcome recent new members Dawn, Emma, Isobel, Sandra and May and wish them happy walking.
